I am just so grateful that Kelly & Liz have come into our lives. After initially meeting them, it was uncanny how many similarities we had in common (even down to the fact that Kelly’s dad and my dad are both foresters … I mean, what!?). They met at UW, were friends first before they started dating, both love spending time outdoors … and the list goes on! They are an awesome pair and I feel so lucky that we get to help them document this incredibly special season of their lives : )
For their engagement session, it was a must to have fall colors AND shots in one of their favorite cities of all time, Madison! Though they now live in Milwaukee, Kelly and Liz are both UW-Madison alumni and have so, SO many special memories in this city! We started our time together downtown to get some iconic “Madison” shots at the State Capitol and then ended the session on campus at Picnic Point for some beautiful fall scenery! The leaves were still hanging on and we definitely got the color Liz was dreaming of and hoping for!
At their session, I go to learn more about Kelly, Liz, and the story of their relationship! Kelly has a gentle spirit, such a warm smile, and loves the outdoors, hunting, and listening to country music. Liz is bubbly and energetic, super driven, passionate, and just POURS out love to those around her : ) Together they love the Rolling Stones, UW Football, and spend a lot of time being playful and laughing with one another. It was SO GOOD to spend time with these two, getting to experience and absorb so much of their joy : )
We cannot wait to celebrate with them as they officially become husband and wife next summer, but until then, enjoy some of my favorites from their fall engagement session!!! Love you Kelly & Liz!!
