I cannot believe these blog posts will be coming to a close soon. The end of fall / beginning of winter is fast approaching which means not only the end of wedding season but now, the end of portrait season in general. I saw another photographer post recently that October for photographers is like April for accountants and I thought, “Oh my gosh, YES! That couldn’t be more true.” Hence why this recap of September is coming to you at the end of October … ha! We will definitely be welcoming the slower season when it arrives, especially this year as we approach our estimated due date in January and get ready to welcome Baby Engel to the world on the other side of the womb : )

September consisted of several family shoots, maternity shoots, a wedding portrait session and another senior session! The leaves were just starting to turn mid-September and I love the tones and textures in so many of these photos. We also had two weddings in September (Peter & Melissa and Austin & Hannah), so needless to say it was a very full month! I am incredibly thankful I have been feeling SO good throughout my whole second trimester and have been able to work and shoot just like normal. I do not take this for granted!

Thanks to the many wonderful clients you will see in these photos (some old, and some new!) we were able to donate $250 to Middleton Outreach Ministry and REAP Food Group’s Farm to Families Fund in September. It has been super important to us to continue giving 10% of all our portrait session sales in 2020 to these organizations working directly with families most affected by COVID. Thank you clients and thank you MOM & REAP for all you do for our community!
