There is a brand new wedding venue in Southern Wisconsin and we recently had the privilege of being a part of a wonderful collaboration of vendors in this beautiful space! Located just outside of Madison in Mount Horeb, The Eloise is an upscale and modern wedding barn that can hold events both large and small. In addition to the venue itself, the property on which it is located is absolutely stunning — something I always love because it means you never have to leave your venue on your wedding day!
Since they know it best, I asked owners Ben & Stacey to share a bit more about The Eloise with us!
1. Where did your dream for The Eloise come from?
The idea came after planning our own wedding. We really struggled to find a venue that fit our style and that’s when the idea was born. We researched the market for about a year and then started planning. We spent about 3 years planning and designing the venue before we decided to go through with building it.
2. What has been the most rewarding part of opening a wedding venue?
Hands down our favorite part is helping our couples and working with their vendors. Ben and I love building friendships, meeting new people, and helping our couples.
3. What is your favorite part about The Eloise?
This is a tough question because we obviously love it all. But if we had to pick one thing it would be the potential it has. It’s a blank elegant slate so there is so much potential for creativity. We can’t wait to see how our couples design their weddings and make the space come to life.
4. Tell us more about YOU! Who are Stacey & Ben?
We are a husband and wife team that love to celebrate LOVE. We are foodies that love to travel and are always up for a new adventure. We are goofing, a little awkward sometimes ; ) but always looking for a good time.
