I can hardly believe I am finally blogging Mike & Alyssa … because I finally got to meet Mike & Alyssa! My time with these two has been a LONG time coming. They were supposed to get married last year … then postponed their wedding to this year … and then had to postpone again to next year. Gosh, they have been through it and yet, every time I interact with them, they are as upbeat and as positive as you could ever hope for. This has been such a gift to me and, I have no doubt, their perspective has also been a gift to one another in this season.

I met Mike & Alyssa at Olin Park to start their session, where we walked and explored and had a really wonderful time getting to know one another better. Conversation with them came really natural and I loved learning new things about them! They met due to a mutual love for the same band and quickly learned how much more they had in common as well : ) Mike’s love for Alyssa brought him to Wisconsin from where he was living in Texas … and I can confirm that he prefers the cold and snow to the unbearably hot Texas summers! They now have a beautiful shared history, full of mountain tops and valleys, that has created a truly unshakable foundation for their future marriage.

Mike & Alyssa — we cannot wait to celebrate with the both of you and all your people next summer <3 It is going to be one heck of a celebration! Don’t you think? : ) Thank you for your constant love, your vulnerability, and your enthusiasm. We are very grateful to now have you in our lives and as a part of the Maison Meredith family. Can’t wait for pizza! : )
