I am so happy we were able to sneak in Peter & Olivia’s engagement session before baby boy arrives! I had so much fun with these two last week on such a beautiful summer afternoon here in Madison : ) I’m excited to share their session with you as a part of it is a bit unique for me — shooting in a studio!
When Olivia initially inquired, she shared that she wanted to do their engagement photos in a studio. At the session, I learned this desire was a very intentional one … a special surprise for her mom! Growing up, her and her sisters would get studio photos taken every single year and Olivia thought that her mom would love this nod to a fond memory of childhood and a family’s love for photography : )
Following our time at the studio, we headed to one of my all-time favorite spots to shoot, Pope Farm Conservancy! Olivia wore this flowy, pleated, navy dress that was perfect for the lush green setting and, of course, Peter looked incredibly handsome as well! These two are absolutely adorable together.
During my time with them, I noticed a playfulness about Peter & Olivia’s relationship that I can’t help but smile when thinking back on. I don’t think Olivia stopped giggling the entire session and Peter was certainly the one bringing out her infectious smile : ) I truly cannot wait for their wedding celebration next year and feel so grateful for the opportunity to not only document but get to know these two!
Until then, enjoy a few of my favorites from their session! CHEERS, you two!
