Kristian & Kathy | A Summer Wedding Celebration at The Tinsmith in Madison, Wisconsin.

It was a sunny June Saturday for Kristian & Kathy’s wedding celebration … just the perfect day to compliment the bright lights these two are in the lives of all they encounter. Both so kind, gentle, humble, and easy-going, their wedding celebration truly encapsulated who they are as a couple and all that is important to them on their life’s journey together. It was such an honor to celebrate their marriage and to document such a significant moment in both of their lives. We feel so grateful!

Both Caleb and I agreed that our separate mornings with Kristian and Kathy were not only fun but also so RELAXED! This is fairly unique on a wedding morning ; ) They are both incredibly organized people which certainly helped, but Kristian and Kathy were truly present on their day, fully enjoying both the small and big moments with those around them.

As we walked to their first look, Kathy told me they had both agreed the night before that the first look was the moment they were most looking forward to on their day. They shared it in private, reading their personal vows to one another which elicited both laughter and tears from each of them : ) It is OBVIOUS they are each other’s “person,” and have a bond that runs so very deep.

I kept noticing throughout the day how much they respect one another, and also how they couldn’t stop staring and smiling at one another. During their first dance, they never stopped talking and giggling and to me, it just seemed as if they were reveling in the joy they were experiencing and the love they felt for one another on such a special day. I hope they never forget it.

So without further adieu, I am so excited to share our FIRST wedding of the 2023 season!! CHEERS to you Kristian & Kathy … we absolutely adore you!!!
