On the day we had originally scheduled Edwin and Dibet’s engagement session, there was an extremely high chance of rain. Being our very busiest time of the year, and the fact that these two live on the East Coast and were flying into Wisconsin for their engagement session, I was certainly feeling worried about how we were going to pull things off! I’ll spare the details, but all the stars PERFECTLY aligned and we were able to shift things around in order for us to meet on a dreamy, sunny, beautiful October evening for their photos. We all couldn’t believe how it worked out and were just giddy with excitement and gratitude the whole night long! The magic SHOWS in each of their photos : )
Edwin and Dibet met during their undergrad at Duke at an all campus event and immediately, there was a mutual interest shared between the two of them. Friends became lovers, and following a very special proposal in Marco Island, these two will be getting married on next year on their 9th dating anniversary! We feel just so thankful for the opportunity to document and share their love with the world.
I left my time with Edwin & Dibet feeling “filled up to the brim” … they ooze love and warmth, and their connection with one another is something magical. They both have so much to offer the world and reflecting back on our time together, I really noticed and appreciated how they are each seeking to live out their fullest potential and truly encourage one another to do so! They are chasing their dreams together, and it is so inspiring to witness. I feel it can be a rarity to have such a deep interconnectedness as a couple while also living out your individual passions along the journey. These two have it figured out.
