Paul & Abby’s engagement session (and very soon upcoming wedding!) has been one of the sweetest surprises of our 2024 season thus far! These two booked us only a couple of weeks ago, and are getting married in December! Truthfully, I didn’t think I was going to book any more weddings this year because I felt really good about where we were at … especially as I continue to navigate my beautiful worlds of entrepreneurship and parenthood : ) BUT, when I saw Abby’s name in my inbox, I had a feeling there would be just one more wedding on the calendar this year!
I’ve actually known Abby for YEARS! I’ll spare you all the fine details, but let’s just say that we have many, MANY very special connections : ) I can’t WAIT for her and Paul’s wedding! Not only will we get to preserve the memories of their intimate union and dinner celebration, but there are going to be so many people we love in attendance. I am already so excited to share their day!!
Last week was the first time I had the pleasure of meeting Paul. I had recently seen Abby, so I knew a bit of their story and that she thought marriage was on the horizon for them. Sure enough, just a few weeks later, Paul proposed while they were out hiking in Colorado. Despite knowing it was coming at some point, Abby was completely surprised by when Paul ‘popped’ the question : ) The best!! After spending just a couple of hours with them, it couldn’t be more obvious how in love these two are with one another.
Once again, I find myself feeling so thankful for the opportunities this job presents me, and for the people it brings into our lives. We adore you, Paul & Abby!
