Oh, I am so excited to share Todd & Julie’s intimate rooftop garden wedding with you today on the blog! What a BEAUTIFUL celebration it was, in every *single* sense of the word. When I first met with Todd & Julie last summer, in describing the vision they had for their day, both shared that gathering their families together for a joyful and intimate evening was of utmost importance. They pictured a rooftop ceremony by the lake, followed by a candlelit dinner complete with beautiful floral, delicious food, and of course, lots of merriment! Let me tell you — I think their wedding day dreams came true.

It was the perfect Wisconsin summer day for Todd & Julie’s lakeside celebration; sunshine, blue skies, and a slight breeze coming off the water. It was the kind of day people dream of for their wedding. Surrounded by their kids as their wedding party, I don’t think these two stopped smiling all day long! Prior to festivities beginninig, Todd & Julie shared a private and emotional first look, in which it couldn’t have been more obvious that these two are a match made in heaven.

I feel SO thankful that our paths crossed with Todd & Julie, and that not only were we able to document this very significant moment in their story, but that we also got to experience their love in our lives. I have to say that it’s an unforgettable one <3

Lastly, a special shoutout to Olive Branch Events Co, Daffodil Parker, and Lettered by Shi for their creative gifts and hard work in bringing Todd & Julie’s day to life! One of my favorite details was the lamp posts woven throughout the day in a nod to the very special place that Todd & Julie shared their first kiss.
