Travis & Kasey | A Timeless Wedding Celebration at St. John's Military Academy and The Legend at Brandybrook in Wales, Wisconsin.

I don’t think it’s possible to dream up a more perfect day for a wedding. Last Saturday was truly unbelievable — temperatures in the low-to-mid 70s, a slight breeze, partly cloudy skies — it was the talk of the entire day. We all were on cloud nine and just loving every moment we got to spend soaking up the last glorious moments of summer! Travis and Kasey were, in my opinion, blessed with one of the most beautiful days of the entire year!

The newlyweds got ready and were then married in Delafield, Wisconsin where they currently live as well! I think it is just so special that where they call “home” has one of the most beautiful ceremony sites in the state : ) Travis and his guys got ready at the couple’s apartment while Kasey and the girls did all their prepping at the beautiful Delafield Hotel right downtown. My fondest memory of our morning together was just how radiant Kasey was … she couldn’t stop smiling and just kept saying, “I am SO happy!” I think she told me at least 10 times on the day that she couldn’t WAIT to call Travis her husband : ) They are just too sweet together, head-over-heels in love!!!

There were lots of beautiful tears at the ceremony as Kasey’s dad handed her away to Travis at the alter. This might have been my favorite moment of the day and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the entire sanctuary : ) Travis’s uncle married the couple which I thought was such a special and unique experience! After the ceremony, guests headed to The Legend at Brandybrook for a gorgeous sunset cocktail hour on the balcony, dinner in the ballroom and then everyone danced the night away as the Bluewater Kings Band ROCKED the reception! It was amazing! Anyone who knows Travis knows he has SO much energy but I’ve never seen anyone so full of life, so ecstatic, so happy to be surrounded by their closest friends and family! It was so fun to watch and be a part of!!

We couldn’t be happier for the brand new Mr. and Mrs. Schmidt. Like Kasey’s dad mentioned in his toast to the couple, these two have worked SO HARD to accomplish all of the incredible successes they have, and they are so deserving of not only an incredible day but an even more amazing life! Just like everything else up until their wedding day, I have no doubt they will work just as hard (or harder) to make their marriage extraordinary : ) We love you Travis & Kasey!
