Over the past few months, we’ve done a handful of family sessions that I can’t not share at least a few favorites from! We get quite a few inquiries throughout the year for family photos and while at this time, we don’t have the capacity to add new clients for family sessions, I always like to remind people about our mini sessions that generally happen 2-3 times per year (spring or summer, fall, Christmas Card) because these are a great time for new families to sign up! Lots of parents love mini sessions because they are only 20 minutes … the perfect attention-span time for kiddos : )

The photos in today’s post are from either our fall mini sessions (which unfortunately got rained out this year and only about half the signed up families could do our rain date!) or they are clients we’ve been photographing for years! I’m sure you’ll see some familiar faces if you’ve been following our blog for awhile : ) We love these people so much!

While we do always try to get a photo with everyone at least looking at the camera during family sessions, my favorites are always the candid, in-between kind of moments. These moments showcase what is unique to each and every family … the way the kids interact, their silly faces and sweet little kisses, mom and dad snuggling everyone … I love these moments because they show the beautiful realness of what families actually look like when they are together. It’s hardly ever perfect but it’s full of LOVE and joy (most of the time anyway, haha!). I hope some of our favorite snaps from each family session over the past few months bring a smile to your face like they do mine!!! Enjoy!!
