I cannot believe I’m blogging our 2019 Year in Review posts!! Do I say this every year? It feels like time just FLIES by. Our 8th season has come and gone, and now we get to reflect on the incredible people we were able to meet and photograph this past year before we enter into a season of (welcomed) slower pace and rest. This is one of my favorite times of the year.

We do these Year in Review posts as a way to share some highlights from the engagement sessions and weddings we get to photograph each year (to see past year’s posts, you can click here!). I personally love them because it’s one place where I get to see ALL of the different couples / moments / places / experiences we were privileged enough to be a part of throughout the year. Photographing marriage is so special because while each couple’s style, vibe, wedding day, etc. is so unique and different (which keeps things creative and interesting for us!), the common thread throughout all of them is LOVE. A choice to love, to support, and to commit. That is pretty powerful if you really think about it.

Today we are sharing a few favorite snaps from each of this past year’s engagement sessions! These images are favorites for lots of different reasons … sometimes I am drawn to the breathtaking views, other times the colors, LOTS of times the smiles and little moments that when I see the photos after a session I think, “this SO perfectly captures this couple!”

This time of the year I am just filled with such gratitude and that is why it is one of my favorite seasons. In the upcoming weeks I will be sharing our “Weddings” and “Behind The Scenes” Year in Reviews … so stay tuned!!!!! And ENJOY!
