This post will be Part I of Taylor & Lauren’s wedding because Part II (their big celebration and reception!) will be coming later this fall! I will say, I’m more than okay with doing two blog posts about this wonderful couple : ) More love and beauty to put out into the world!
Despite having to postpone their larger celebration, Taylor & Lauren still wanted to get married on their original wedding date of 06.06.20. We met them at the church, along with their immediate families, to both witness and document them becoming husband and wife : ) It was such an intimate experience and one of my fondest memories was watching everyone gather together in the back of the church before the ceremony to mingle, laugh together, and prepare to watch their daughter/son/sister/brother finally get MARRIED! Nothing else in the world mattered but what was about to happen : )
The ceremony was so lovely and I couldn’t stop noticing how happy Taylor was — his HUGE smile never left his face and it got even bigger whenever he would sneak a glance at Lauren. He was absolutely on Cloud 9 : ) After the ceremony, everyone gathered outside the grand doors at the entrance of the church and threw celebratory petals over Taylor & Lauren as they exited! It was so much fun … and really beautiful!!
We finished our time together at The Edgewater Hotel in downtown Madison, where Taylor & Lauren will be having their reception in the fall! They wanted to ensure they got some summer photos at their venue since we don’t know what the weather will be like in November! We had AMAZING weather this past weekend and I’m so happy we were able to get these photos for them : ) Next time we see these two, Lauren will be in her wedding dress and they will have their bridal party by their side! For now, I am so happy they are MARRIED and for the chance to get to celebrate them in this really unique season <3
