The fall has presented us with some pretty challenging weather so far. We have had to reschedule SO many shoots due to rain! Brad and Lindsay’s was a session that I was convinced would, yet again, need to be rescheduled. The weather, however, actually turned in our favor and we shared a BEAUTIFUL evening together at the Green Bay Botanical Garden!

Both Brad and Lindsay are from Green Bay and though they went to the same high school and knew of each other, it wasn’t until a bit later on that they reconnected. They found themselves in the same friend group as young adults and got to know each other better, first as simply friends. That changed over time, however, and they have now been together for over six years! Needless to say, they are VERY ready and excited to get married.

One of their first (and favorite) trips together was visiting Brad’s family who owns property on an island right off the coast of Florida. It was a very memorable trip early on in their relationship and when Brad knew he wanted to propose to Lindsay, he couldn’t think of a better place than back at one of their favorite spots : ) While he had originally planned to ask her to marry him at dinner the night they arrived, he simply couldn’t wait that long!! They took a walk together on the beach and in a private spot all to themselves, Lindsay said, “YES!” to Brad’s proposal!

We are SO EXCITED for these two to finally become husband and wife. They are an incredible couple and such a good match for one another : ) Until then, however, you will just need to enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session last week!
