Joe & Marissa | An Elegant Tented Wedding in Merrill, Wisconsin.

I am about to share the most beautiful fall Wisconsin wedding with you! Joe and Marissa simply could not have gotten a better day to host their outdoor wedding and reception. The sun was shining (there was actually not a cloud in the sky!), temperatures were WARM for mid-October, and fall color was in full bloom! The incredible weather was the perfect match for the JOY that we experienced on this day!

Joe & Marissa got married on Marissa’s family’s property, where they will soon begin to build their own forever home! The road that led guests to the tent is the same road that will one day be their driveway. I mean … does it get any more SPECIAL than that?! I love that they will get to drive by this sacred place in their lives every day, for the rest of their lives : ) What an amazing daily reminder of the commitment they made to one another on 10/10/20.

In addition to Joe & Marissa’s future home being on this property, MANY of Marissa’s family member’s homes are also in the same vicinity! It was really beautiful to see how close her family is and get to experience the special bond they all share with one another. Needless to say, the happiness and celebrations were OVERFLOWING : ) These people were SO excited to welcome Joe into their family!!

Both the ceremony and reception took place under the tent, which had a clear top and sides. It was breathtaking to be able to see the fall trees full of color through the roof as Joe & Marissa and their guests celebrated below. The floral decorating the tent was STUNNING and Marissa did an incredible job designing all the tables. It was elegant, timeless, and very romantic : )

I think it’s time we get to these photos, don’t you?! I can hardly believe it, but this is our last wedding of the 2020 season! Joe & Marissa, we are honored to be the ones to help tell this piece of your love story – thank you for sharing yourselves and your day with US. We are so lucky. The world is truly a better place because of you. We love you both!!!!
