Peyton & Caroline | A Private Estate Lake Geneva Wedding at The South Shore Club in Wisconsin.

Today we get to relive Peyton & Caroline’s BEAUTIFUL floral-filled wedding at the South Shore Club in Lake Geneva. This day was full of romantic details, exquisite cuisine, and an emphasis on making sure everyone in attendance had a GREAT time being together and celebrating! I am really excited to share it all with you : )

Though Peyton is from New Orleans and the couple lives in Chicago, they decided to get married in Wisconsin at Caroline’s father’s lake home in Lake Geneva. Peyton shared with me that this spot made the most sense to them since being on the lake brings them peace and serves as their oasis from the hustle of their everyday lives in the city! I have to agree it was the perfect backdrop for their day.

Caroline and her girls spent the morning getting ready at the family home, where she also shared a very special first look with her father. These two have a close relationship that I was honored to get a front row seat to throughout the day as I documented various moments shared between them. As you will see momentarily, Caroline was a true vision in her extraordinary Lazaro wedding gown, complete with delicate flower details that matched the aesthetic of her floral-filled ceremony and reception tent later on!

The couple shared their first look down the aisle, in front of their closest family and friends and with the beautiful Lake Geneva in the background. There were more tears during this first look, as well as during the special readings done by Peyton’s aunt and Caroline’s sister. Cocktail hour followed by the pool with an evening reception in the tent at the top of the hill, impeccably designed and executed by Simply Detailed and Frontier Flowers of Fontana. When I say they brought Caroline’s vision to life, I mean they BROUGHT it! Our time with Peyton, Caroline, and their guests ended with a traditional New Orleans second line to their fireworks show over the water. What a day : )
