I can’t help but smile when I think about Connor and Kaitlyn!! We had SUCH a great time together at their engagement session last week. When it comes to wedding planning, these two have been THROUGH it (their original wedding date was in 2020) but at their session we talked about how ultimately, everything seems to be working out just as it should : ) I know that as much as I would never wish this upon them, or anyone, I sure am glad that needing to reschedule led them to us!
Connor and Kaitlyn officially met for the first time in MIDDLE SCHOOL! They go way, way back ; ) Their love story didn’t begin until high school, however, where time spent together in an advanced math class led to a friendship that eventually led to a first kiss at Connor’s parent’s house so many years ago. Their strong friendship has been foundational to their relationship over the years, as they’ve walked through many of life’s transitions together including a recent graduation from the University of Wisconsin Law School for Kaitlyn and a completion of his Master’s Degree from UW for Connor! Let’s just say … these two are very gifted individuals.
Even more than their smarts and successes, Connor and Kaitlyn’s warmth and kindness are what have truly, truly stood out to me in my time knowing them. They are polite and considerate, generous, joyful, and extremely welcoming. You just feel at ease in their presence. Kaitlyn’s ever-present giggle is also something that cannot go without mentioning (yes, I’m smiling again as I type this!). Needless to say, we are grateful and EXCITED to be a part of their BIG celebration of finally becoming husband and wife next year!!
