It’s time for our annual mini session post! Which also means it’s time for me to share about how we were battling weather AGAIN for this round of sessions! We choose our mini session day(s) in the winter, months before summer hits, once we have our wedding season set and we know what days are available for them. And somehow, year after year, it always seems to precipitate on the day we choose. Like, always. After struggling through this again this year, Caleb and I have done some brainstorming and we are going to change up how we offer mini sessions going forward!
With that being said, if you are even potentially interested in a future mini session, please email me to get on our list (maisonandcaleb@maisonmeredith.com). It is RARE that I post about these online anymore as they fill up so quickly with those who are on this list! Once we open a date, I first email these families to offer the spots on a first come, first serve basis. I send one-to-two emails per year, depending on how many session days we are offering. It’s super minimal and seeming to be the only way to get a spot! We are so grateful to be able to offer sessions for families in this way, when we otherwise would not be able to fit them into our busy summer schedule.
Now, with all that being said, let’s get to the sessions! These five families decided to move forward with their sessions despite the rain and I can confidently say they are all VERY happy they decided to do so! They each told me : ) I’m thankful for families who value documenting their story year after year — and who make it a priority! I always tell them that while these photos are certainly for you to enjoy now, they are REALLY for you to enjoy in 10, 20, 30 years …. : ) That is the true beauty of photography.
Sending so much love to anyone reading this post today — xoxoxoxo!
