Matt & Savannah | An Elegant Wedding at Villa Filomena and The Wisconsin Club in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

When I think about Matt & Savannah, what immediately comes to mind is their immense love for one another. Every once in awhile, I have these moments on a wedding day where I really notice what a privilege it is to have this job; to witness such sacred moments shared between couples and families. On Matt & Savannah’s day, I experienced one of these moments when Savannah was reading her letter from Matt. A glimpse into his love for her, the words he chose to share with his bride on their wedding day. I could feel his love for her as she tearfully read the words aloud. It was a beautiful moment.

Caleb shared with me later on that he had a similar experience while Matt was reading his letter from Savannah. These two have found their “person,” best friend, and safest place in one another. Throughout the day I became keenly aware of their dynamic — deep yet playful and full of gratitude. We are so happy they are now MARRIED!

Savannah’s uncle officiated their ceremony and it was both thoughtful and INCREDIBLY hilarious!! I can only imagine how loved Matt & Savannah felt as they took in his words : ) Then, at the reception, we were again wowed with speeches. This couple is so loved! Savannah’s Maids of Honor rewrote the lyrics to one of her all-time favorite songs (and then sang it!) and both Caleb and I agreed that Matt’s brother’s speech was one of the best we’ve ever heard (and that’s saying something as we’ve been doing this for 10 years!).

As I blog this day, I feel grateful and excited to share it with you! We are so happy for you, Brennans! ENJOY!
