Joe & Lauren | A Modern Wedding Celebration at Vintage Brewing Co. in Sauk Prairie, Wisconsin.

We had SO much fun last weekend at Joe & Lauren’s wedding! The whole day went by seamlessly and everyone was in the best, happiest spirits all day long! Joe & Lauren are surrounded by a LOT of really hilarious, fun, and loving people which only made the celebration that much better! We laughed so much and of course, shared lots of happy tears too : )

Something I thought was really special about Joe & Lauren’s day was that they got to spend it with not only both of their families but also their entire bridal party / best friends! With the exception of two bridesmaids (who live out of the country), Joe & Lauren’s entire wedding party was in attendance for their day!

The girls got ready at the super cool Hotel Indigo in downtown Madison. Lauren’s modern, elevated bridal look paired wonderfully with the vibe of the hotel and the (most beautiful ever!) icing on the cake was all the floral to compliment it by the one-and-only Briar Loft. Lauren was just STUNNING in her Alexandra Grecco gown and romantic bridal look done by Thien at Arch Apothecary. I, along with all the bridesmaids and mothers, could not get over how beautiful she looked!

When Joe saw her coming down the aisle at Blessed Sacrament Church, I would have to say he completely agreed : ) Joe has an AMAZING smile but I’ve never seen him light up as big as he did when he first saw Lauren at their ceremony. After a beautiful mass and family photos at the church, we headed to Indian Lake with the bridal party. I have to just say it again – these people know how to have FUN and we laughed, danced (yes .. danced as they brought a super nice / big speaker along to play music during photos!!) and snapped some pictures at the stunning county park.

The night ended at the Vintage Brewing Co in Sauk Prairie, right along the breathtaking Wisconsin River. I have two favorite memories from the reception portion of the evening, the first being all the toasts. Both fathers, Joe’s twin sister, and the Maid of Honor and Best Man shared the most beautiful words about the couple. Joe & Lauren are SO loved. Caleb and I commented on how much the speeches about each of them mirrored one another … these two have made such a profound impact on the ones they love. And then secondly, our short time away for some sunset photos down by the river : ) It was so calm and serene … and I love how much Joe & Lauren enjoyed this moment away and together at the end of the night.
