A Year in Review … 2020 … one unforgettable wedding season. Unforgettable for wedding vendors and for brides and grooms alike. No one could have ever imagined what we have <all> walked through. We personally know couples who had to replan their wedding more than THREE times. What a whirlwind.
And yet, love prevails.
Because what I actually remember about each wedding day was the tearful first looks, the crying fathers handing their daughters off at the end of the aisle, the hysterical toasts, the stolen glances, and the joy. Yes, there were many unwanted and stressful moments but the last word of the story is LOVE. It’s “I do.” It’s “yes.” It’s forever.
We had fewer weddings than ever before this past season and each one of the couples will always hold a special place in our business journey. They are the couples who shared a truly unprecedented time in their lives with us so intimately. And they allowed us to help tell a significant part of history through the photos we documented on their wedding day. My hope is that these photos would bring reminders of love and joy to anyone who looks back on them for the rest of their existence!
In complete contrast to this year, next wedding season looks like it’s going to be one of our busiest yet! As always, we will take this off-season to reflect, recharge … and have a baby : ) I’m so hopeful for all that 2021 will bring! I know wedding season will be here again before we know it.
To every couple in this post — we love you SO much. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your very special day with us. It was sincerely an honor to be a part of your wedding celebration!! To, yes, an unforgettable 2020 but also to DECADES more unforgettable memories to come!
