The beauty that filled Kyle & Alyssa’s wedding day is going to blow you away. Alyssa in her dress … the lush white floral … black and white dance floor … stunning reception space architecture … around every corner was another breathtaking view. And yet, by far, the most beautiful part about their celebration was the love these two have for one another. I realize how “cheesy” that sounds, but there is no other way to describe it. Just wait until you see the moments from their First Look : )

Kyle and Alyssa got married in Iowa City, at Hancher Auditorium on the University of Iowa campus where Alyssa both went to school and excelled as a collegiate athlete. It was our first time in Iowa City and we enjoyed getting to explore a little bit! In many ways, it reminded us so much of our home here in Madison : ) We have loved getting to know Alyssa and her family (we also photographed her sister Erin’s wedding in 2018!), and it was truly such a JOY to spend another significant milestone with them.

Going into their wedding day, we all knew that Kyle was going to be emotional. Yes, he is a competitive and successful professional athlete … but he is also incredibly down-to-earth, tender, and truly so kind. Before Alyssa even came out of the doors for their First Look, he was a puddle! His love for her is extraordinary and it showed in endless moments throughout their day.

In her toast to the couple, Alyssa’s sister shared that Alyssa never really dated anyone before Kyle. Lots of people were interested in her, but there was always a reason they weren’t worth pursuing. Alyssa is strong, independent, and confident to go her own way … until Kyle : ) Kyle came along and stole her heart, in an unexpected way and when she wasn’t looking for it. From my perspective, it’s so obvious how they each feel like “the luckiest” to have found the other, and to get to spend the rest of their lives together. They are a perfect match and we are so, SO excited for all that lies ahead of them in their new life together as husband and wife!

So without further adieu, introducing the brand new Mrs. & Mrs. Sloter! We love you!!!!!
